In the past [my friend] had a heart surgery and a mechanical valve was implanted. Does the zapper interfere with this metallic valve? Probably the zappicator does not work properly with any metallic insertions, but I would like to know about the zapper. Please advise!

Good news! There is NO problem with using the zapper or the SuperZappicator even if he has a metal implant. Please see our post for anyone with a Pacemaker who wants to use the Zapper.
