Dr. Clark’s latest HIV/AIDS book states: “The consumer should also request copper electrodes of tubular design…..Although wrist straps are convenient, not enough research has been done to accurately compare effectiveness with the tubular design of electrodes. A very sick person should use the copper tube electrodes, of correct dimension, correctly placed ……..and not risk poor conductance.” (page 506)
We have done extensive testing on wristbands, and have now manufactured wrist bands that work very well, for the following reasons:
- Adequate contact area: The wristbands are 2 inches wide, and the surface area is over 4 square inches. We have found that our custom made wide wristbands are superior to the very narrow wristbands from other suppliers.
- Contact Light: Our green contact light will show that with a spray of water on the wristbands, the green light will light up and show there is good contact to complete the zapping cycle.
- Velcro closure: The velcro strap construction allows the wristbands to be comfortably tightened to provide adequate pressure for the zapping cycle.
